I may say big words sometimes, but I am a very simple person who likes to make complex things simple.
I started blogging in 2016 out of my love for learning and sharing.
That’s how SidelinePlay was born.
Blogging has given me a sense of freedom that I never imagined possible. I now live a “ no boss ” lifestyle, traveling the world and blogging wherever I go (aka a digital nomad).
I am an introvert. If I were asked to give a face-to-face speech, I might not be able to express my ideas. But now, on my blog, I feel extremely relaxed when describing my ideas to hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of people.
I was able to do this because I had something meaningful to share.
I started this blog when I knew nothing about blogging as a profitable business, and it chronicles my journey from a hobby blogger to my current role as a full-time blogger and educator.
From how I made my first affiliate sale or my first $100 in blogging income , all the way up to how I made over $100,000 with my small blog , I love breaking down the dos and don’ts you need to take your blog to the next level.
From social media to blogging, affiliate marketing or self-publishing tips, through "SidelinePlay" I provide actionable tips and tried and tested strategies to increase blog traffic and grow online income.
It sounds fancy, but in simpler terms, I want to be an online cheerleader, blogger, and resource for self-employed people who are trying to figure out this online stuff and turn a hobby into a profitable side hustle or business.
Because if I did it, so can you!
Trust me! I'm not special.
But what makes me different from a “typical blogger” is that I treat my blog and social media accounts as guinea pigs to experiment with in terms of growth and marketing strategies, and then I break down what works and what doesn’t into useful blog posts, digital trainings, and emails.
