Payoneer is another reliable cross-border payment solution for bloggers, affiliates, Amazon sellers, and freelancers. With Payoneer, you can receive affiliate payments from any country as long as the company is on its whitelist. For example, I have used Payoneer in the past to receive payments from Commission Junction.

Before using Pingpong, Payoneer was my go-to service for receiving overseas affiliate payments. However, their transaction fees are almost twice as high as Pingpong. Many ad networks have direct integrations with Payoneer, which still makes it one of the most popular solutions for receiving payments online.

2. PayPal

PayPal is one of the largest online payment processors in the world and is widely used by affiliates to pay their partners, and its widespread use is one of the reasons why it is so popular despite its higher fees.

No matter which affiliate network you use, they will most likely pay affiliates via PayPal. Creating a PayPal account is free, and there are no maintenance fees. It is one of the first things you should do when starting your career as an affiliate marketer or blogger.

3. Ping Pong

PingPong is another popular service for receiving cross-border payments. It is widely used by Amazon affiliates and Amazon sellers to receive overseas payments. The advantages of PingPong are:

• Only 1% transaction fee
• Provides automated FIRC

PingPong accounts are free to create and have no maintenance fees. Service activation may take 2-3 days, so you should apply for an activated account as soon as possible. The service appears to be integrating with other popular networks to add affiliate payment capabilities.

4. Bank Wire Transfer

This is another method that many people can use to receive large affiliate payments. Many companies offer direct withdrawal options that can be used for affiliate withdrawals. However, looking at the Indian scenario, there are a few things you need to know:

• Banks often charge large fees for money transfers
• High conversion rate and disadvantage
• Sometimes you end up paying up to 4% per transaction

However, there are some solutions to these problems:

You can open a current account and then negotiate a better deal with your banker. For example, after negotiating a better deal with my banker (ICICI Bank), I was able to save almost one Indian rupee for every dollar I deposited.

Another thing you should know is:

Some companies do not advertise wire transfer as a payment method. However, if you earn more than about $2,000 per month through this affiliate program, you can contact your affiliate manager and ask him to use another payment method, such as wire transfer or Payoneer/PingPong.

At the same time, most affiliate networks support payments via wire transfer.

Note: If you receive foreign currency transfer in India, make sure you collect the FIRC document. This serves as proof of payment and helps you get export benefits, if any.

5. Stripe

Stripe is the world’s most popular payment processor and is popular among entrepreneurs for collecting payments.

This is the latest trend and many companies are integrating with Stripe for affiliate payments. This is done to reduce fees and Stripe is a popular service available in multiple countries.

One of the networks (Partnerstack) recently started supporting Stripe and recommends that for payments over $130, Stripe should be received through PayPal.
