The next day, I went to Quora.

But for digital marketers, bloggers, or anyone looking to drive traffic from Quora to their website, what really matters is its bounce rate .

Bounce rate tells us the percentage of people who leave a website after viewing only one page of the website (landing page).

Similarweb data shows that its bounce rate is 69%.

At least for me it's a good thing.

Let me explain.

If the bounce rate is high, it means that more and more people are clicking on the links in your answers, and you are getting free referral traffic.

This way, you can make more money through website traffic or by promoting affiliate products, courses, and anything else that makes most people money.

If you really want your QUORA answers or posts to get more views, then you really need to know a few things.

It requires a little bit of web scraping skills and then you can increase views, engagement and clicks on your affiliate (and sometimes any other link) links.

Quora will always recommend popular and trending questions related to the question you are exploring.

These questions are more likely to get more and more views, and if you answer these questions, you can definitely get 5K to 50K views per month and a decent amount of traffic.

Very important:

1. Always write answers to the most popular relevant questions, with at least one popular answer having 10k to 50K views.
2. Get as many upvotes as possible to rank high.
3. Provide appropriate detailed solutions.

Method 3: Connecting to the top level space

Like Facebook groups and Medium publications , QUORA has its SPACE feature (community) where you can join and share.

As you can see, this Quora page has more than 14 followers, and if you follow it and apply to become a contributor, you can easily get more views.

In Quora SPACES, you can easily “ Apply to Contribute ” and once approved, you can share your Medium posts, blog articles, and answer questions to get more and more views and traffic.

It’s free and very effective.

So just pick a niche…let’s say “blogging”, then write content, post in groups, and be relevant to it only for the next 30 days.

Boom, you're on your way to 5,000 views or more.

Method 5: Search, filter and answer directly

As you can see in the image above, this seems to be the easiest way to find the best and popular questions to answer and increase your traffic.

What should I do?

1. Log in to Quora.
2. Search for “keywords” related to your field.
3. Apply the "Questions" filter from all filters as shown above.
4. Select the questions with the highest ratings and the most attention.
5. Write a high-quality answer that includes pictures and posts.
6. If you can, please share it in the spaces you join.

Great! Your answers will start to get more views and more traffic to your site from day one.

I have done my best to curate the best resources for growth hacking on Quora for you, however, there is more that can be done.

Method 6: Promote your website on Quora, the “right way”:

I see a lot of answers with direct links to websites.

Blatant and shameless promotions are the most hated promotional methods.

The following line:

• "Read the article below to find the answer to your question."
• “Read my blog: ____”
• “You can find the answers on my website ____.”

These types of responses will not bring you any traffic from Quora.

Here's an example of a spam answer someone might write:

The answer was collapsed. I'm sure this user was also marked as spam by the Quora moderation team.

The right way to get traffic is to make a genuine effort to write a great answer and then share a link at the end of your answer.

I was able to drive a ton of traffic to my startup blog through Quora , and I wasn’t shamelessly advertising.

Once you write good answers, you can convince Quorans of your qualifications in the category you write about.

• The answer establishes your authority as a knowledgeable person on the subject.
• At the end of your answer, include a link to your blog.

I see no reason why users wouldn't want to visit your site.

Once you have a good reputation in your field, you can use links to your website as reference points in your answers.

But don't self-promote.

Quorans hate self-promotion.

They will veto your question.

3. How to get traffic from Quora?

I answered 278 questions in 60 days, and Quora easily presented my answers to over 5,000 viewers (readers).

This is possible when I know very little about several technologies but my less popular answers get views.

Today, I answer 5 to 10 questions almost every month, but my website about making money online steadily gets more than 5,000 free views and 2% to 10% traffic .

This makes sense.

I can say for sure:

1. Write great articles and answer popular (viral) questions.
2. Don't compromise on quality, add images, don't scam.
3. Never use direct affiliate links in your answers.
4. Interact with readers and ask questions.
